Ravenna Country Market Is Now Open

The Ravenna Country Market is now open! After a change of owners, a new name and a full renovation, the former Ravenna General Store is now open.
This favourite spot in the Town of the Blue Mountains for both local residents as well as visitors to Blue Mountain, Thornbury and Meaford opened again October 5, 2009.

I thought I’d drop in and see what was new today. New owners Monica Wolf and Roy Genoe have done a great job.
The entire interior is redone and complements the selection of local products.
My main interest was trying out the new selection of lunch items. Chef Roger Genoe made me a fantastic toasted ham, tomato and goat cheese bagel with a sprinkling of fried onions. Fantastic! The price was very reasonable as well.

Stop in on your next visit to the area. Our Grand Opening will be Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11. There will be a ribbon cutting, free butter tarts and food samples. We look forward to seeing both old and new customers.
